Patricia Leith of Leith Graphics, LLC has been awarded the prestigious 2008 Graphic Design USA, American Graphic Design Award for her extensive design work preceding the Springfield Days celebration. Only 15% of the 10,000+ entries passed the highly selective awards process. The award-winning piece will be published in the 300-page American Graphic Awards Design Annual – which serves as the December edition of GDUSA. The winning entry will also be featured for a full year on gdusa.com, which has 100,000 visitors per month.
Event organizers were astounded at the professionalism and result of the final products: "Springfield Days has been evolving and maturing as an event for some time and something very important to us was creating a professional image for the event. To say we are very pleased with Leith Graphics' design and all of the promotional materials that they developed is an understatement. The final products, (logo, web page, posters, flyers, advertisements and program) exceeded any and all of our expectations." stated Springfield Days Chairperson, Tawny Hammond.
